Austin Area Whole Foods Markets have chosen Jose Elias Severiano as the scholarship winner to be sponsored by Casa Brasil Coffee sales in their stores. Jose Elias is the son of Evando José Severiano and Maria do Carmo Pereria Severiano. He has an older brother, Alan Pereira Severiano. The family lives on their farm, São Sebastião outside the city Poço Fundo, Minas Gerais. It is a family owned and run farm, with certified Organic and Fair Trade coffees.
