Chácara São Judas Tadeu

So subtle, yet so complex

Antônio Rigno de Oliveira has been growing coffee outside of Piata, Bahia for over a quarter of a century. The picturesque Chapada Diamantina provides a .unique microclimate of altitude, moderate temperatures, and sunlight that is ideal for producing quality coffees

But, of course, an ideal climate can only provide the opportunity. For more than 25 years, Antônio Rigno de Oliveira and his family have produced excellent coffees through a system of selective harvesting, and careful coffee rotation on the patio. By carefully separating the coffee into lots, Oliveira is able to maintain the quality of his highest quality lots, and ensure a homogenous drying and processing of the coffee.
