From Paulo Almeida’s Fazenda Botanica we drove down through the middle of the volcano and to Fazenda Cafelandia, owned by Paulo’s brother Jaime Francisco de Almeida.

There is statement about human nature in the recepa. Also notice the permitted undergrowth around it (ie. natural biological methods as opposed to pesticides).
Florada
Fazenda Cafelandia was experiencing a small flowering when we visited brought on by the rains. The jasmine-like scent is wonderful and I wish I could somehow put it here for you.

Now that’s a patio. Can you imagine the tailgating possibilities here, or have I been in Texas too long?
